As the grand finale to the Innovation Nursery CEIN has run throughout 2022, and as part of the CEIN Start-Up Day activities, a event where startups could meet potential investors interested in participating in their projects was held on the morning of 21st December 2022.
The aim of the event was to help these startups explore funding opportunities by creating a meeting point where they could present their projects and growth expectations to potential investors, as well as giving them the chance to begin conversations and hold one-to-one meetings with each one of them.
A total of 26 startups presented their projects during the event. Their 10-minute presentations were organised into three sections based on the CEIN vertical they were in: Health, Agro/Green or Digitech.
The Health startups were:
Darwin, AED Training Box, LeadArtis, Making Genetics, TedCas, Eversens, Betternostics, Hyssogenix, Nadetech, Nucaps, Vitio and Ysium.
The Agro/Green startups were:
Bioeder Technology, Bread Free, Fruit and Food Products, MOA Foodtech, Welfare Tracker, Yenxa by Almotech and Ntd Energy.
The Digitech startups were:
BlockBit Capital, inBiot Monitoring, Labrit Multimedia, Leial Technologies, Nubapp, Smart Lean Solutions and Sploro.
Following the three sets of presentations, CEIN provided the time and space for a total of 33 one-to-one meetings to be held between startups and investors, of which 13 were within the Agro/Green section, 10 in the Digitech section and 10 in Health.
There were also Coffee and Lunch Networking sessions held, which were used by investors and startups to begin conversations and get to know each other in a more relaxed atmosphere.
