On Friday 1st April, International Fun at Work Day, we at CEIN held a very special event focusing on passion for what we do – one of the emotional keys to entrepreneurship – and specifically on having fun being one of the tools that allows us to overcome the frustrating situations that we are inevitably going to face when starting up and running a business.
We were joined by Eduardo Jaúrgui, Piret Salong (of the language school Pipa Idiomas) and Daniel Ferrán (of the sports training centre 3.0 Training) to talk more about this.
What ideas did they share with us? They included the following:
• Dream big, then adapt your dreams to reality. Never give up on your dreams, because there are always opportunities to make them a reality.
• Work hard, and make the most of everything you have around you. Surround yourself with people who share your dreams.
• Failure exists, but learn to laugh about it. Humour makes us more productive and creative.
• Trust in your project, bring it back down to earth and crunch the numbers.
And for everyone who wants to keep dreaming and surrounding themselves with people who share their dreams, here’s the link to the next online Exploration Session, which will take place over Zoom on 26th April, in the morning or afternoon.
Hope to see you there.
